local ministry    community impact    global impact

the vision

God has placed families at the forefront of Crossroads’ most vital ministry. Most young families are not in church for various reasons. Some families feel church is irrelevant and many churches aren’t taking the necessary steps to reach out to them. From the very first meeting, God has made families a priority at Crossroads. By being obedient to God’s call, He has been faithful in sending families with children, but there are still so many more families in Lebanon that still need to be reached. We have only scratched the surface.

Beyond bringing more families to Crossroads it is time to step up and step out to have more of an impact in this community as a whole. We are the hands and feet of Jesus and what better way to reach out to our community than by getting in the trenches and helping those who are in need? As Lebanon grows, so should our ministry and outreach to the community. We can do much more than we have done previously.

It doesn’t take but a few minutes of watching the news to see that we need to make an impact in a lost and dying world. That means we need to start looking beyond our borders. It is time to begin thinking globally in addition to thinking locally.

We need to take the Gospel to those in other countries and it’s time for Crossroads to step up as we partner strategically with those working to spread the Word in other countries and join them in their work. We would be remiss to admit that the needs in our community and world look impossible but as we have seen God’s faithfulness proven over the last two years, there is no doubt He will be faithful to help us meet these needs.
