It’s the day before the “Fourth” and for many of us that means that we are going to be spending our time scurrying around trying to get all of the last minute items together to insure that we have an amazing time with our family and friends.

At Crossroads we’re all about family and friends….I guess that’s why we here people say, “this place just feels like home” and we think  that’s a good thing.

As you prepare for this special holiday know that we at Crossroads are wishing you a “Happy Fourth” and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Oh by the way……make sure and cook a couple extra burgers, you never know who may show up!

Many of you who attended this past Sunday’s luncheon have already turned in your partnership application.

For those that didn’t and would like to turn them in this Sunday just make sure you follow the following instructions:

• fill if out completely
• make sure and sign it
• get one of the leadership to sign it and give it back to you
• drop it in the offering bucket at the end of the service

That’s all you need to do and you can do that this Sunday or whenever you are ready.

What is it that we do you may be asking?

It’s pretty simple….we invest in relationships with those around us and then when we have built up trust, we take the time and invite them to one of the services at Crossroads.  That my mean that you have to go pick them up, meet them somewhere so you are sure they make it or you may even have to take them to Sunset for the broasted chicken….it just means we are going to do whatever we can to get people to Crossroads to hear the life changing message of Jesus Christ.

Are you “investing and inviting?”

Get on it NOW! Life is to short and hell is way too hot!

Sunday was another amazing day at Crossroads!

Hopefully you were one of the people who enjoyed an amazing day of worship and teaching.  We continued our series “Everybody Hurts” with a look at walking through the pain and hurt of life that so many times makes us feel like we are going through it alone.

After the services on Sunday we had our second “Newcomer’s Luncheon” of the year.  If you were not able to make this luncheon, we will be scheduling another one for late in the month of July.

Sunday evening was a great time of reflection as we celebrate communion.  If you haven’t made it to one of our communions services then you are truly missing a great experience.

Looks like its going to be a wet one at least for a while.

Parking this morning due to the construction would be best done towards the front of the lot.  Stay out of the mud…..

Some of you have been out of town and haven’t received the information so we will give you a little more time.
