Children

Crossroads' children's environments, Waumba Land and Upstreet, are offered during our 10:00am service only (service times are 8:30am & 10:00am).  To ensure that your child is checked-in and acquainted with their environment before you head to the worship service, we suggest that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service time. You can pre-register your child here to save time at the door.

Waumba Land
Waumba Land is our Sunday morning preschool environment for children six weeks through four years old. Waumba Land is where our preschoolers are cared for in small groups. It is a clean, safe and carefully staffed environment where your children will learn about Jesus on their level while you enjoy the worship service. Waumba is the Swahili word for creator and our desire is to teach all preschoolers that:

•God Made Me
•God Loves Me
•Jesus Wants to be my friend forever

Waumba Land is open and going strong during all worship services.  For the safety of all children, we secure Waumba Land and end check-in fifteen minutes after the start of each service.  To ensure that your child is checked-in and acquainted with their environment before you head to the worship service, we suggest that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service you are attending.

Upstreet
Upstreet is our Sunday morning environment for elementary-aged kids (K-5th grade) which includes an engaging large group gathering for worship and teaching, and a more personal small group time with adult leaders.  Children in Upstreet learn how to study the Bible, worship God through singing, and build quality friendships with other children and adult leaders. Our goal is for every child in Upstreet to make the following decisions:

•I need to make the WISE choice
•I can TRUST GOD no matter what
•I should treat OTHERS the way I want to be treated

Upstreet is open and going strong during all worship services.  For the safety of all children, we secure Upstreet and end check-in fifteen minutes after the start of each service.  To ensure that your child is checked-in and acquainted with their environment before you head to the worship service, we suggest that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service you are attending
